Duncan's Sabbatical - 29th May 2008
To all at Landseer Road and Alan Road Methodist Church:
May God our Father and our Lord Jesus Christ give you peace and grace!
Just a short message to let you know that Iarrived well at denver Rescue Mission. I am resting today after a very hectic journey! All together including waiting time was 21 hours. The only bad thing wa
that lost my luggage! However, it has now been found and have been promised it will be delivered before 12pm (Denver Time).
Changes in time seems to have a little psychological effect, especially when you are served dinner while you know you are supposed to be in bed and asleep! It will take time to get used to it and not to
think in terms of routine.
Denver Rescue Mission is a very beautiful facility purchased only five years ago. There are numerous activities going on here with 35 members of staff. I was taken round the facility this morning and it
is very nice. The people are very friendly and the whole area looks lovely.
More news when I know exactly what I will be involved with in the next few coming weeks.
Thank you very much for your prayers and support that has made this trip possible.
Every Blessing.
